We need a Managing Director:

 

To further shape our growth, we are looking for an Enterprising Managing Director to work with the Executive Board to operationally implement the growth objectives.


Your function

​​

As Managing Director, you will have ultimate responsibility for the entire organisation and take the lead in preparing Metaplex for the next 50 years. You manage the company in all areas and become the face of the company both internally and externally.

Together with the Board of Directors, you will determine Metaplex's vision and future international strategy. The focus will be on growth and further professionalisation through, among other things, digitalisation to build a "laser-focused" organisation.

 

  • You translate the strategy into concrete objectives and actions.

  • Together with the team, you build efficient operational processes so that customers get top service at all times.

  • You take the lead in the further computerisation and digitalisation of the operational and commercial flow. The further expansion of our ERP system (Odoo) is also a project you enjoy sinking your teeth into.

  • You take care of the necessary monthly management reporting, budgeting & forecasting and are assisted in this by an external accountant.

  • You are responsible for the HR policy, focusing on retaining current talent in the organisation and attracting new top talent.

  • As a people manager with a hands-on mentality, you are close to your employees; presence on the floor, creating support for change and stimulating a positive working atmosphere are inherent to your role as SME manager.

  • You are very commercially minded and enjoy winning deals by providing customers with the best possible experience or customer journey.

  • From your interest, you keep your finger on the pulse of the international market; you spot new trends, developments or questions from the (international) market and investigate how Metaplex can play a role in this to create business.

  • You detect opportunities for innovation and development and build on existing relationships with partners.

  • You monitor the quality of the products and services offered.

  • You report to the Executive Board, of which you are a member.

 

Your profile:

​

  • You are a driven entrepreneur with 6 to 10 years of management experience in a made-to-order production or assembly environment. Experience in the sector or related business is an important asset.

  • You can present a successful track record within an SME environment or Business Unit in which growth and professionalisation are key.

  • Thanks to your involvement, commitment and hands-on attitude, you know how to quickly win the trust of your employees. As a coach, you can take your team to the next level.

  • You combine strong strategic insight with sufficient pragmatism, a focus on results and numerical know-how.

  • People appreciate you for your integrity, positive mind-set and ambition.

  • Feeling for the market and intrinsic interest in Metaplex's business are self-evident.
